Join us on Wednesday 22nd June and raise a laugh and money for Shelter.
Stand-up comic Damian Kingsley is currently travelling penniless from Lands End to Edinburgh on a 120 gig tour to raise money for the bad housing and homelessness charity Shelter.
So far the take up and support for the tour has been incredible and he has raised over £10,000.
He cut up his debit cards at Land’s End and can’t use any money or public transport so he’s hoping to be given shelter,
food and maybe a few lifts on the road to Edinburgh – in return he’ll tell jokes to anyone anywhere, from the Nags Head to Granny’s front room,
for the basic necessities so many people have to do without every day.
You can support the tour by coming to the show wednesday June 22nd.
The initial aim of the tour was to raise at least £7,000 by 29 August but as Damian has now raised over £10,000, halfway through the tour, he hopes to raise at least £20,000 overall. The tour started on 24 March 2016 and finishes at the Edinburgh fringe in August, where all donations will also go to Shelter.
