Galphay's Annual Open Gardens has proven to attract a large amount of visitors in the last years.
The Open Gardens & Midsummer market will be held on Sunday June 24th from 1-5pm
Again during this year's edition we are organizing a midsummer market in the garden of the Village Hall.
It will be a market with plant stalls, gifts en crafts. Anything to do with gifts, green, garden, plants or the environment will fit in perfect. The Village Hall will be the entry to the event and serve teas and cakes, so all the visitors to the open gardens have to pass the market at the start and finish of their gardens visit. This will give you as a stall holder a great opportunity to create sales!
It will be an outdoor event but if the weather is not cooperating we can go inside the Hall.
We'd love to live in a world without non-recyclable packaging.
What about you?
That will have to mean a huge change in the way businesses offer "convenience" (and a change in the way consumers demand it!)
AND a huge effort to greatly improve recycling across the country ... so we'll need the governments help!
So far this petition has 558 signatures, 12 of them from Harrogate.
Lets see if we can get this number up a little together?
